November 6th was the first Random Acts of Kindness Day on campus. There were over 60 acts recorded in the bucket in the main courtyard. Acts ranged from holding doors open, helping with homework, paying meters, a smile and/or hug, to supporting a friend in need. It is so great to know we are part of a caring community. Please keep up your random acts and…make someone’s day!
Acts of kindness can improve the health of both the “doer” and recipient!
This event was organized by the Nutrition Education Center, Thrive and the Campus Campaign of Caring, watch for more events throughout the year!
