  • Dialogue about topics such as:
    • Grants: types of grants, grant proposals, resources available through Research Services
    • Research: methodology, article/manuscript preparation, publishing
    • Tenure & Promotion: development of a strong dossier for reappointment, promotion, tenure
    • Teaching: principles of teaching/learning, classroom dynamics, and technology in teaching
    • Students: recognizing and addressing diverse student needs, student policies and practices
    • Hiring Students: recruitment and supervision of research assistants and graduate students

  • Educational leadership
  • Discussion of articles
  • Policies and procedures (may need to consult with or refer Mentee to Head, Associate Dean, or HR)
