  • The program is available to all tenure track Faculty
  • The program is organized yet informal in nature
  • The program is complementary to department faculty orientation and guidance, and informal collegial relationships
  • Mentoring will be collaborative and supportive with a formative focus
  • The mentor is not in any type of supervisory role with the mentee
  • The mentor-mentee relationship is confidential in nature
  • Activity is goal focused and self-directed by the mentee with mentor’s guidance
  • Mentoring is valued as an important service activity by mentors
