Join us for an exciting kick off to the new academic year with the return of the Faculty & Staff Welcome Back BBQ and Info Fair on Thursday, August 29, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The Info Fair is your chance to showcase the incredible work your department, faculty, or association does for the vibrant UBCO Community!
Why should you participate in the Info Fair?
- Engage and Connect: Share your latest updates and initiatives with fellow colleagues.
- Celebrate Diversity: Highlight how your team supports the diverse composition of UBC’s departments, faculties, and student groups.
- Network and Collaborate: Meet new faces and reconnect with old friends in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Things to note this year that are different:
- Tents will no longer be centrally provided. Please be prepared to make arrangements for your own tent if required.
- Power outlets are not available. Consider bringing a portable battery pack should you need power.
- Location will be confirmed closer to the date.
What You Need to Do:
- If your department, faculty, or association is ready to shine, please complete the online registration by August 2, 2024.
