UBC Okanagan Welcome Back Day
Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Town Hall and presentation of the Staff Awards of Excellence, Welcome Back Faculty and Staff BBQ and Information Fair
Back for the first time since 2019, the Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Office and Human Resources is pleased to welcome everyone to the start of a new academic year by hosting the Annual Welcome Back BBQ and Info Fair following the Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Town Hall and Staff Awards of Excellence.
Held the week before classes start in September, the day is a wonderful opportunity to attend the annual Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Town Hall, enjoy a complimentary lunch, take in information booths, enter draws, and visit with your fellow UBC Okanagan colleagues.

Time: 9:00 am to 10:30 am
Location: COM 201 (Large classroom in The Commons)
Faculty and Staff BBQ and Information Fair
Time: 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Location: Central Courtyard
The BBQ will include music, games, door prizes, and information booths.
Welcome Back Information Fair Table Registration
Departments, Faculties and Associations are invited to plan and staff a table with information they would like to share with employees. This gives the exhibitors an opportunity to showcase what their department or faculty has to offer. If a department, faculty or association would like to participate they are asked to register online before Aug 19, 2022.
