Awards and Recognition
UBC’s faculty and staff contribute to the success of the University in many ways. Whether it be through teaching, volunteer work and service, or research, UBC celebrates these achievements through awards and recognition programs throughout the year.
Length of Service Awards
This program is one way in which we express our appreciation for the dedication and service of our exceptional staff and faculty. It acknowledges service milestones starting from 15 years and continues in five-year increments thereafter.
Staff Awards of Excellence
We celebrate outstanding contributions instrumental in helping UBC’s Okanagan campus achieve its strategic imperatives, and to contribute to the commitment to create an Outstanding Work Environment.
Faculty Awards
UBC Okanagan has many outstanding faculty who deserve to be recognized and celebrated. The Centre for Teaching and Learning provides nomination support for the Faculty Awards.
President’s Service Awards for Excellence
The top award presented to UBC staff in recognition of excellence in personal achievements and contributions to UBC’s vision and goals. Nominations may be submitted by UBC students, faculty and staff.
