The annual Faculty and Staff Sports Day is back and returning in person for an afternoon of inclusive and fun activities, hosted by UBC Human Resources and Recreation.

Department teams will compete in a variety of physical and intellectual challenges, team building, and fun! Whether you want to participate as an office, department, group of colleagues or an individual, there is an activity designed for everyone.

Teams of 4-6 individuals will be asked to compete in various challenges. Socialize with team members and fellow faculty and staff at the beer gardens and food vendors available throughout the event.

Want to gain a scoring edge and support your local community?

New this year, teams have a voluntary option to get an extra 5 points for a minimum donation of $50 total to the United Way. While individual donations and payroll pledges are welcomed, only a maximum of 5 points can be earned for each for team.

Donations can be made on event day at time of registration. The United Way will have a table and will be accepting donations made by cash, credit card or debit. You just need to let the United Way know your team name.
